Yvonne Haase Bio

Yvonne Haase, a South Florida native, first became interested in psychology while leading school retreats for adolescents.  She received her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology at Barry University in Miami Shores, Florida.  Ms. Haase completed her Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling at Nova Southeastern University in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida.

Ms. Haase has worked with many populations, but found the most fulfillment in working with children and adolescents.  She began her professional career working as an in-home therapist for at risk children.  Here she provided children and families with appropriate skills in order to foster a healthy family environment.  Ms. Haase began an extensive career in working with Domestic Violence, both as a facilitator for the Batterers’ Intervention Program and as a therapist working with children exposed to family violence.  Ms. Haase has provided trainings in Domestic Violence to Broward County Mental Health providers, school personnel, and various public forums.  In addition, Ms. Haase has expertise in Play Therapy, Anger Management, Divorce issues, and Parenting Coaching.

In order to further help and support the many individuals and families she has worked with, Ms. Haase became a Board Certified and Founding Member of The American Institute for Rapid Trauma Resolution and a Florida Supreme Court Family and County Mediator. Ms. Haase is currently co-founder of Creative Resolution Group, a private counseling group specializing in Rapid Trauma Resolution using clinical hypnotherapy.  She continues to practice psychotherapy, pro-se mediation, and provides seminars for healthcare providers.  Ms. Haase’s children’s book and handbook for parents are scheduled to be published next summer.
