Anger Management & Control
Anger is just an emotion. However, our response to this emotion is often destructive not only to others but ourselves as well. Anger whether internalized or externalized can cause serious health problems. People who suppress their anger often find that their body expresses it for them in some form of illness. People who rage are candidates for heart attacks, strokes, hypertension and high blood pressure to name a few. Anger can break down relationships with family or friends, cost you promotions and jobs, and sometimes your freedom and life. Learn to express your anger in a way that raises yourself-esteem and motivates you to improve the quality of your life.
CRG has worked with men, women and children, teaching them the tools they need to harness the power in a way that can be beneficial for themselves and others. How Do You Know You Have a Problem? |
Styles of Anger
Most people look at anger as negative, destructive behavior such as yelling and hitting. This is the anger we all know. There are other styles that we are not as familiar with as aggression. The four basic styles of response to anger are:
- AGGRESSIVE - anger is externalized, “turned loose”.
- PASSIVE - anger is internalized, “locked up”.
- PASSIVE/AGGRESSIVE - outwardly agreeable, but showing the anger through indirect actions or sabotage.
- ASSERTIVE - anger is appropriately managed and communicated if necessary.

Take Back Your Power
Creative Resolution Group has treated all types of anger for 12 years. Learn to recognize your physical cues, your emotional triggers, your behaviors, and your thoughts.
